Work in progress

Photo taken inside the Dom Tower in Utrecht. Some tools that were used to design the tower between 1321 and 1382.
The Dom Tower (Cathedral Tower, Dutch: Domtoren) of Utrecht is the tallest church tower in the Netherlands at 112.5 metres (368 feet) in height and the Gothic-style tower is the symbol of the city. The tower was part of the Cathedral of Saint Martin, also known as Dom Church.

Broken ice.

Photos of some melting ice. I tried being creative and this is the result. I like it. The abstract forms and the combination of white, grey and blue really caught my eye.
I also like the details and the sharpness of it. Because I had plenty of light I was able to shoot with a high speed and I wasn’t constraint to use the 2.2 diaphragm.
Feedback is mandatory :)

Along the way

Along the way

A black and white photo of a close perspective of a fence. I really like how the lines meet in front end split at the end of the picture. Also the water drops are a great addition to the image and considering at the time I took the photo there was a dense fog around, the white is predominant in the photo.
Overall I think it has a very nice perspective effect.

Ropes

Some spider web at sunset. It was the perfect environment for it.Some ropes and wood pillars around to make things more “artistic”. I just love the colors in it and the detail on the web is great. Probably in my top 5 :).

Triumph arch by night

Triumph arch by night

And this is the third photo from the night-out escape. This one is my favourite. I tried alot of shots with this triumph arch but the problem was that it was a busy area even at night so I could not get a clear shot with my 50mm. So I had to burrow my girlfriends 18-55mm classic and try with it. It was way easier even though the sharpness is not the same.
Long time exposure, cars passing by, lots of interesting things happening in the photo. Do you like it?

Star lighted alley

Star lighted alley

Here is the second photo from the long photo-shooting night. This one is taken in Herastrau park with a long exposure and a closed aperture so I get the star-effect. It shows a star lighted alley with lots of small pillars with light bulbs.
It has some romantic feeling attached to it.
