Going through canals

Going through canals

And yet, another photo from Utrecht. A better view on the canals. It’s so nice walking around there it’s impossible to not stop and take a photo. My bad :).

Romanian parliament at night

Romanian parliament at night

For those who liked the photo from a few weeks before, here is the Romanian parliament at night. Same angle, same building, different time of day. It’s still very imposing and looks very powerful. It’s a huge building.

Triumph arch by night

Triumph arch by night

And this is the third photo from the night-out escape. This one is my favourite. I tried alot of shots with this triumph arch but the problem was that it was a busy area even at night so I could not get a clear shot with my 50mm. So I had to burrow my girlfriends 18-55mm classic and try with it. It was way easier even though the sharpness is not the same.
Long time exposure, cars passing by, lots of interesting things happening in the photo. Do you like it?

Odeon theatre

Odeon theatre

Photo taken in Bucharest, at night, in front of the Odeon Theatre. Those green ligths
really got my attention and since I had my camera with me I gave it a shot.
From the looks of it it was worth it.
Night shots are always challenging but when you get what you wanted you will always say that it was worthing the effort :D.

Statues on duty

Statues on duty

Photo taken in Herastrau Park, Bucharest. I really love these statues and
with some perspective a nice shot is built. On this photo I applied an
Infra-red filter to get this sharp black and white effect.
I always have a sensible eye for statues. For some reason I always want to take photos of those still objects.
